Evo Laptop mount

since alot on here have rooted and tethered your evo I was trying to think of a way to make it easy to use withthe laptop and kep everything in one unit.

what does someone think about on the lid of the apptop add some velcro and cut the top of a case. then you can attach the holder to the velcro than slide the evo into the holder and attach a usb cable to charge/tether if you dont use wifi.

that way its like the military sat phones that you use in the field.

Sounds like too much work. Plus if your phone rings you have to turn your laptop around to dismount the phone. Even to view it you have to either move it around or close the laptop. Plus it won't look too attractive and IMO would look kinda ghetto rigged. I would much rather carry my miniature portable charger and keep my phone plugged in to it for power. That way I can still access and move my phone around easier.

Here's the portable charger I use. It's about 2x1.5 inches and comes with retractable cable.

the seidio case mount I am making will be easy and fast to look at whos calling.

have to modify the case tomorrow but will post pics.

this will be an awesome mod. be like sat-comm"ing" the olden way
