Getting HTC wifi router to autoconnect in Windows 7

I just got my new wondows 7 laptop. I like it but, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to automatically connect to HTC wifi router. I have to enter the WEP key every time. I must be missing something. Can someone help a Win 7 noob out?

EDIT: I figured out how to set up an adhoc network so I do not have to enter the WEP key every time but it looks like I can only set it to connect manually. Anyway to change that to auto? thanks!
