auto correct

ok the problem im having with my hero is that it auto corrects every word n a text messages and sends out some text that i dont even write. I have rooted my phone to the fresh rom and its like freak i cant stop this from doing this. I have turned the feature off but for some reason its still sends texts messages within my text to people as im texting them. Does anyone have this problem?

I think you need to spend some time building a custom dictionary. You can always add in the words that it is auto correcting (incorrectly in this case). I have the same problem because I send texts in both english and spanish, so the auto correct feature fails me on a near daily basis... until I added in the words that I was actually typing and now it is fine.
