After a restart no data?

Hey all...Fresh Hero user here from a TP2. Any time I turn my phone on I have no data till I update my profile, than all is fine. In other words, if I turn my phone completely off, then back on again I have no data. I update my profile in settings and it works fine again. Is this normal? Brand new phone, not rooted or anything.

If my data is broken after a restart, i just turn it on then off airplane mode and that fixes it. Its a weird issue, and i'd like to know the cause.

yeah, funny thing is today it is working fine. I did root and flash, so maybe it's Sprint's ROM?? idk, got me..
