EVO Case actually scratching phone

So I bought the cases from Sprint that are two pieces that slide together from the sides (not top and bottom) because I thought they were really coold and different and have had them on since I bought my EVO but now I took it off today to see how dirty its gotten and after wiping out all the dust and stuff I see that the case has actually scratched up the top right and bottom left glossy plastic. Has anyone seen this happening? What should I do?

The guy who did the original review on the case is already reporting scratches. Plus the scratches won't happen ina few days. It will take a few weeks to months of use.

Re: EVO Case actually scratching phone

im using the Seideo holster for non cased EVOs with an XO Skin and notice that the holster pinches the sides of the phone causing some bubbles. i can press them down, but i can see it getting annoying after a while.

on the screen? did the same on the tp2. i always run a screen protector with the sedio holster.. its the edges of the inside of the holster, you should see it.. maybe file those down a bit.. not sure i havent tried it.

im going to try a diff screen protector plus i ordered the rugged case

but i know what your talking about. kinda sucks.. its happening on the evo too

Re: EVO Case actually scratching phone

i've heard this on another forum and they posted the chat with seidio about it... i love seidio cases, but i wouldn't use the evo case, at least not until they redesign it. i think i'll just get the sili case for when i need more protection. i'll try and find the post.

edit: OP, please see this. seidio will replace it with a new case with special rubber coating. don't know if you can do anything about the scratches already there though :/ http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=126047

Re: EVO Case actually scratching phone

Cases cause more scratches than a naked phone gets. I had one on the Pre and when I took it off I was shocked at how scratched up it was.
