xdandroid help

I'm trying to get the xdandroid to install on my Diamond, but I get to loading screen then it says failed to load SD card and stops. I've tried formatting, removing partitions etc. The problem with using some info on removing partitions is in Windows XP the diskpart utility does not let you interact with removable storage like Windows 7 does.

Which are you trying to load? The EXT2 or the regular?

Can you explain how you did it?

I have it running on mine using haret.exe in internal storage.
Are you running on a partition?
what is the benefit to running on a partition?
