Removing calander?

Is there any way to remove the calander from the home screen on a Stock HD2 from T-Mo? I don't like it and want it gone, but I don't want to mess around and flash a custom rom. Any ideas?

Also, is there a way to use a picture from your photo album as a home screen background? On the Mogul and Touch Pro you could open up the picture and click on "set as" and save it to the home screen, but on the HD2 I don't see an option for that.

Thanks

Re: Removing calander?

I would use core player, but will have to find a version of it for the hd2 first
