Trouble downloading bootloader XV6700
So i recently aquired an old verizon XV6700 on ebay and was trying to install wm6 (so it wouldn't be worthless) and because of my Bootloader version (v2.05) i was unable to install helmi_c wm6. I have been strougling with this for about two weeks now. Every forum i visite that has the information i need, the links dont work! its a nightmare! i even considered Cooking with Helmi kitchen (as this would require no change to my BL) but the links on that forum come up with some ftp login crap that i dont know what to put in. This is truely a nightmare! id appreciate it if ANYONE could help me out with my XV6700 and the bootloader. even posting a file for the kitchen or a valid link to a site that actually shows you how to change bootloader would be great! or even a little instructions! Hope someone out there can help me out! thanks!
