Few very basic question about Verizon Omnia II & custom ROM
Sorry as this sounds newbie/ignorant but I need a WM smartphone for a family member and prefer an inexpensive one as it's purchased on a 1-year contract.
If anyone can answer these basic questions regarding USA Verizon Omnia II i'd be thankful... 1. Verizon Omnia II is already UNLOCKED and fully hackable with custom ROMs right? 2. Voice, SMS, Data, MMS & roaming is fully operational in 3G using Verizon network with custom ROMs right? 3. can ALL the front hardware buttons be MAPPED to do specific things. I wish to setup Titanium and no "samsung" customizations whatsoever. Thanks in advance!

ROMs are available, mostly on Modaco forum: http://www.modaco.com/category/425/v...om-discussion/
Check each ROM thread for any issues, but I think all is working. there was something about possible MMS issues, if I recall. AEButton Plus can assign all front and left side buttons. Lock and Camera buttons on right side don't seem to work that way.
