how do i program a custom rom

ok, i have a htc touch with a custom rom and i just switched it over on sprint. but when i tried the ## programming with the number they gave me nothing came up. is there a generic or do i need to reset to factory rom?

Here is a cab with the ## codes that might work. If it doesn't you'll probably have to flash the stock ROM

thanks i ended up flashing back to stock to finish activation. but i am saving the cab to my pc so i can try next time i am in the same situation. i activated it earlier then put the nsfans custom rom back on it and it wouldn't go online. so i flashed back to stock rom and played around with it till i got it to start connecting now flashing back to custom rom hope it works.

Don't know if you tried this, but with some ROMs you need to install the DCD Carrier cab, here is the link that has all of them.
