Is it possible to tether T-Mobile MDA to a mac

i used the search but could not find anything but how do you use a mda as a mac modem

You can use internet sharing in wm6. It works via bluetooth with mac. I have connected my 8125 wizard running xm6r4 rom with my mac mini successfully. There is also a app that allows a usb connection but I can't remember where I found it before and I no longer have it. Maybe you google it.
