The Telus V1.04.05V Radio R.rar file in the first post of the link I provided is (as stated) a .RAR file. If it's showing as a "windows media" file, it's likely you don't have a program that can unzip it. Try downloading and installing
WinRAR from here.
Also: do not try to install a different radio if you haven't
unlocked your phone yet.
