My wife has a HTC 6800 from US Cellular that I want to get working on Sprint. She was talking to someone that said they would update it for $80. I'd like to try to do it myself.
I've read another thread here (
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...r+sprint+flash) that says it can be done. However, I think I'm going to need a little bit more hand holding.
I've downloaded a couple different ROM's and a couple different RUU's. None of them seem to work. The first one I tried got to 12% and then give me an error. I downloaded dcd_titan_kitchen_3.0.4 and it sits at 0% for about a minute and then gives me an error. Both errors are regarding a loss of communication.
Can someone tell me wehre I can get the software and ROM that I need to get this done? Are there any special instructions that I should be aware of?
