They've been sitting on this since 2003, if the graph can be believed.
Must be some serious kinks in the ramp up to commercial viability.
Still, anything will help. I'm waiting on solar roofing tiles to be only 2x as expensive as asphalt shingles so I can re-roof with solar. My roof gets about 40Kw dumped on it 300/365 days here in CA. It's a total waste.
