Verizon TouchPro's are different model than the other carriers.
It is called the RAPH500. Sprint and the other CDMA carriers issue the RAPH800.
The main difference is that the VZW (RAPH500) has less ram in it than the RAPH800.
Also Verizon will only activate a phone that is already in their ESN database. Others have managed to get get it activated but it has always seemed to be a hit or miss proposition.
Bottom line is if you want to use the phone on Verizon it has to be a Verizon branded TPro and the account that was associated with it must be clear and paid to date.
This is a big problem people face when buying a phone on Ebay!
A VZW TP rom can be flashed to just about any TP (exception GSM units)
and if the phone is a RAPH500 you can flash most of the popular roms without major issues provided you use the Pagepool changer to reduce the pagepool of the ROM to bet 6-8 MB
