Hi, First time post, bit of a noob. I have a vodafone UK branded TP2 and have spent hours trawling this forum and xda devs and am pleased to have found these great taskbars. having issue getting the battery icon to display results, just showing full all the time. everything else working fine. Mine has the VF 6.5 rom and on searching for various files I found it has a VFUK_phcanOverbmp.dll as well as the standard one, and having searched the net no one has mentioned this file?
Your thoughts/comments much appreciated?

Hello,
I need some help if anyone could give me a hand^^
I'm working of my own version of the Dusk taskbar (here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624874 ) and I'm not really sure I get how the Data icons do work. (and living in a stupid country, I'd need to spend LOT of money just to test it myself for few minutes°_°)

What's the exact role of the Data icons in Tapres dll? and what about those in phcanOverbmp?
This is what I tought:
tapres: icons for Data not connected
phcanOverbmp: icons for Data connecting and Data connected

But from some user feedback, they get the same icons for connected and non connected too. (while on my phone, for non connected data, I get the icon from tapres).

Any ideas?

from wat i remember, the tapres controls the type of connection: 3g 3 eV 1x. you should be looking in the shellres 4 data connected or not, the shellres controls the majority of icons. and phcanoverbmp should be used mostly for the battery; the 1st post can explain a lil more...

Do anyone know what file to open to edit the "new SMS" icon in the taskbar? I just installed a new official ROM and it seem it's not outres.192.dll who controll that anymore, any thoughts?

maybe its in 2 locations now..shellres also? but i think you may still need outres..? take that w/ a grain of salt cuz i havent looked into it at all nor was i on the sprint update but 4 bout 5 mins (for radio n prl) so thats all me just assuming:mrgreen:

edit: just seen you prolly werent talking bout the sprint update being in sweden an on tele2

Ye :( But with this ROM I got HTC Sense 2.5 (2.1 earlier) and I got this ugly new HTC messaging thing and I believe it's some file which is new who got the sms icon in it..

never heard bout that b4. it really, i think, shouldnt matter if its sense 2.5 or 2.1 (those being manila files and the tb icons come from dlls) yea the 2.5 sense ui has the new htc messaging compared to 2.1 but i always thought those changes are seen in the manila files not the dlls that effect the taskbar.

i could be way off here but it just doesnt make sense to me that the manila version/files effect the shellres, outres etc. for the tb

i always thought the only thing 2 be aware of is the different versions of win mobile but not manila/sense...??
