Note to all the different designers on this site:

I just loaded the Bear-Bonz icons from Post #6. I love the looks of the pics in the post, but I have discovered after loading (Verizon TouchPro with SSK ROM), that the icons have 2 "human Factor" problems for people with glasses (who try to see without them) and older citizens,.
1) After installation, they were smaller than the pics, so it made it difficult to see the function of the icon.
2) The were all round, with the information inside the circle.

Although I think they are great, I think that in general for best visibility, that each function be a different shape. That way, even if you couldn't really make out the icon, by the shape, you'd know what the function was.

Other than that, they seem to function beautifully. I have no complaints about the operation.

I totally understand where you are coming from. I pretty much feel like I have exhausted the potential of round icons on the taskbar and plan to move on. The biggest difficulty in doing these mods is the very resolution we work with. A 32*32 icon seems big on the computer monitor, but once on the phone, not so much. That's why we have to be very careful with what we do.


I should have some time tonight to compare my tapres.192.dll to Tsowen's so I should be able to tell if it's right or not.

Okay guys, try this and let me know if it works. I did transpose the Ev and rA icons. My bad... ](*,)

If this does the trick, I'll update the main Cab in my first post.

Hi Gadget. Installed this cab and ev replaced rA. here a sshot. looks good. I was confused what the difference was because I am in rA area but it never showed this with Sprint. thanks again.

I have a feeling that rA shows up with that V company and the company soon to be called V-something or other. Not so much for us Philistines on Sprint.

While colorizing the Ev and rA icons, I compared it with the tsowens rA files, and found one mis-match... group 22217 is supposed to be the Ev icon also, not rA (in the tsowens file, groups 22214 and 22221 are rA, groups 22215 and 22217 are Ev).

BTW, this is what I came up with for the colorized icons... about to try them out.

I added a cab with the blue and green icons if anyone wants it... only includes tapres.192.dll.
