App to filter out unread emails?
I think one of WM's biggest little annoyances is the total inability to sort by read/unread or filter out flagged emails. I've looked extensively over the years for software that will do this and there are only two as far as I can tell: Flexmail and PocketBreeze. Flex is not only overkill but doesnt handle Exchange well from what I remember, so I use PocketBreeze. Excellent program, but as of Manila 2.5 doesn't work so well on Manila Today Page. Works, but causes lots of instability, etc. I'd rather get away from resource-intensive old-school today screen plugins.
Is there anything out there that will do it on it as either a standalone app or a poutlook extension (preferable). Why wouldn't microsoft finally implement that? Its crazy scolling through 900 emails to look for 4 unreads... |

I think you can sort it by message type at the top where it says the date.

Re: App to filter out unread emails?
Yeah I found that little guy back when I was going nuts searching for the way to do it: it does a useless sort based on email, priority, and system message not on read/unread or flagged.
I'm going to try and write a simple app in viz studio that searches the message store for unread emails, lists them, then clicking just takes you to that msg. And if I do, I'll definitely share it here. I can't be the only one who wants that simple feature. |
Re: App to filter out unread emails?
This is gonna sound profound but I just put my old e-mails in another folder then keep my inbox clean and when I get a new e-mail it's already there.

Re: App to filter out unread emails?
There is an app out there that does this (i think) email triage?

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35541; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))
email triage is a great little extension that adds "add to calendar" and "add to tasks" to each email option. i have that already and love it... but it doesnt sort by unread/read. unless that cat rewrote it recently. |
