Re: Opera 10 beta early users? (Mobile)

May be ROM dependant I don't know but 10 works so good for me, no hickups or anything just flawless... I actually like 9.7 just a tad more but it is slightly buggy with an occasional crash or lockup. 9.5 is far to buggy (again on my 6.5 ROM) IE is just garbage!! I don't care if it works or not. Skyfire is good too and works without a hitch but I have to say out of all of them, 10 is most stable and fastest for me, go figure... I'm not complaining

An improvement on an already great browser... Only problem I have is the browser will sometimes close on what I assume are complex pages... Haven't decided whether I will keep as default yet...

Interesting, we all have our preferences. Tried 10, wanted to like it, but after reading it's memory usage, and experiencing an issue related, started trying to find 9.7.

Ended up with 9.5. Why didn't opera stay with the simplistic and less 'real estate used' 9.5? Really like the ability to zoom using the slider on the right side when text is less then the screen.

Overall consider it a better interface and honestly don't see any diff in speed...

The lack of proper zoom controls is putting me off.

I don't see any speed difference either... and I'm also noticing on almost EVERY page I try to visit, I have to hit "refresh" in order to successfully pull it up!?

what i found weird about opera 10 was that my pages loaded quicker without turbo on. going back to 9.7 was better for me but it seems to have problems with pocketnow.com, engadget and crackberry.com. i think no flash is the reason. is there a working flash someone can point me to? i tried flashbundle and that didn't work on 9.7.

I used to have the sites failing to load without multiple refreshes with 9.7, but haven't seen that with 10. Not sure if folks may be confusing the quickdial icon generation loads with page loads, which seem to occur separately.

Was happy to see turbomode work with significantly viewer bugs in the 10 release.

One other note here, it took me a while to understand the new "close page" mechanism, which requires a double-tap. The initial tap seems to just activate the close button (i.e. it becomes larger), needing a second tap to actually close a tab.
