I have an app (GPS Weather Radar) that requires installation of the file 'NETCFv35.Messages.EN.wm.cab'. Anyone know where it can be downoaded from?

Hey, cool! It's mid-2008 again! What's this? A thread for us all to post the framework cab that has been out for about a year and a half? Count me in!

I know it's only 2.58MB but it been posted 3 times in this thread and a countless number of other times throughout PPCGeeks... This adds up to waisted disk space...

Too bad there's no way to centralize all the files posted by users to eliminate duplication... I typically provide a link when available to other threads/forums to try and cut down on unneccessary drive space usage...

I guess if it were a concern the admins would have addressed it by now...

Well when you go on the search engine here some of the links say netcompactframework but are empty just chatter thats why i started this thread.What i feel should happen is if a thread is started 2 new rules should be put in place
1)If threadstarter post that thread contains a download but doesnt post the download then that thread should be deleted
2)All threads should be titled correctly so that search engine can provide accurate search listings.

This brings me to a question.. If you have a later version of CF.. would we need and earlier one or will the later one already have the earlier one included?? i tried to install 3.5 last night because i got an error with my one app and the window which didnt stay up for long said somethign about 3.5 so i assumed i needed it.. i installed it and my phone said that i already had a more recent version installed... So would i need 3.5 as well?

As far as i know netcompactframework 3.5 is the latest one availible.The message you recieved on your pocket pc might have been an error. I will look on microsofts website and see it an 4.0 is avalible . Yes when an updated compact framework is made it includes previous versions.NCF 3.5 includes version 1.0 and 2.0 i will look into this matter more to see whats going on your pocket pc.
