Are There Any Alternate Facebook Applications?
 

the facebook app from microsoft pretty much sucks, no push updates or anything like the fb apps on blackberry, iphones, and the android platforms. Anything better than the official microsoft version?

i noticed theres several different twitter apps so i was wondering are there several diff facebook apps?

I use FIM (mosko.mobi) since it connects to Facebook chat and also does the mobile website.

you can try the touch version of the mobile site. kinoma play also has a facebook app within it, but its not really anything better than what microsoft has to offer. but then again, its all a matter of opinion.

when i try chatting on there the messaging never goes thru it says i have to be logged in for that even tho im logged in

If you have issues with the touch site, try out http://lite.facebook.com. Works great in Opera Mobile.
