Did this ever get created...? (Sound learning)
 

Maybe I'm just not paying attention, but about a year ago I remember hearing about "sensing" applications that listen to your surroundings and "learn" sounds and adjust settings based on this.

I know PocketShield and G-Alarm have some "volume" sensing for turning off alarms or unlocking but I'm looking for something that will know when I'm sitting at home, in the car, on the motorcycle, in a meeting, asleep... etc.

Maybe this is out and I just don't know it! :)
