i'm having trouble running these from my 6700, all the streams seem to be WM streams and i dont have anything on my phone that supports this format. Suggestions?

fatlard 10-02-2007 01:37 PM

does not work on mogul using tcpmp

KMyers 10-02-2007 01:41 PM

I Have not tested on Mogul(WM6), Howver if you set up the PPC to use Windfows Media Player to play the .wmv stremes, It will work

shawnhenson 10-02-2007 01:49 PM

are these tv stations live?

fatlard 10-02-2007 01:54 PM

yeah.. but I perfer to use tcpmp to handle my mms for ytpocket.com

Thanks though.

Bitrate too high?

This is very cool. However, I tried several and they are all greater than 400k. Even though I have EVDO speed, my 6700 buffers a lot. When I stream from my orb server, I can reliably stream 200k or less. Is there any way you can lower the bitrate or have a slower secondary link?

I know the feeling, I am working on adding lower stremes as well (56-128 k), But some of the stations dont offer this. I do not own any off the stations, so I cannot alter them

works great on my 700wx. keep up the good work and thanks.

do you have any tips for this? when i go to WMP options, it only gives me 3 protocols to select from UDP, TCP, HTTP... i dont see any other configurable options.

KMyers 10-03-2007 10:28 AM

I will shortly have the system show the Format and Bitrate to help people who are using Edge and Slower to select the best streams

Adding the Format for those who use alternate Media Applications (TCMP) to also use the site

KMyers 10-03-2007 11:56 AM

I just pushed the first set of Updates, About 1/3 of the stations now have the Format and Bitrate Listed (Television)

I also added a few .nl stations (Television)

Actually I dont, the framework for the page has taken me over 4 months to create, it is compleatly powered by MySQL and PHP. In all honestly I just added 8 lines of code to add the 2 additional options :)

As I read from another post (I think on XDA), you will most likely need the codecs from WM5 and stick them in the Windows directory for it to work with TCPMP, as the codec names changed (and perhaps the codecs themselves) and I think TCPMP is looking for the old codecs from WM5...

I'm attaching just in case. This enabled WMA streaming for me on my 750 using TCPMP.

The attached includes both codecs (WMA and WMV). Just stick these in your Windows folder and make sure you exit TCPMP before trying the site.

InvincibleLiving 10-03-2007 05:15 PM

scotty i just added to your reputation cause you didnt have to go dig up the files and post em in here. well done man!

InvincibleLiving 10-03-2007 06:02 PM

yep that was it, those two codecs worked once i dropped em in the windows directory in main memory! Shout outs to KM for the resources and Scotty for the codecs!

scottymomo 10-03-2007 06:07 PM

no worries ;)

when someone told me they could do wma streaming with tcpmp and I couldn't I went searchin a few weeks back and lo and behold... ;)

KMyers 10-03-2007 10:57 PM

NIce, I will add the .zip to the help section of my site (As soon as I make the help section)

KMyers 10-03-2007 11:57 PM

Just a Quick Question, are there any People who own Mobile Friendly Sites, I want to try to set up a webring, Of sorts...

KMyers 10-05-2007 12:42 AM
