webcam for ppc
 

Ok I have web camera plus and im kinda pissed because I paid for it and I cant figure out how to make it work. Everytime I try to start the webcam its trying to connect to a server or something and can never connect. I dont want to do it like that all I want to do is be able to connect the phone up to my pc via usb and use the webcam via yahoo messenger. Anyone have any suggestions?

I had to change the IP address in the network settings to match that of my pc and it worked when I connected it to active sync.

Can you be more specific where to do that? I have Vista so I use Windows Mobile Device Center.

Just go to your start menu, click run and type in ipconfig. It'll show you your IP address. Then on your phone open web camera plus and go into settings, network and there will be an IP address box and a port # in there. Change the ip address to the IP address of your pc and then connect and it should work.
