Twitter on Touch Pro 2
 

hello all. i'm looking for the best twitter programs that actually work and look good on the TP2. i want it to have most if not all twitter functions, extras if there are any. should look great on the TP2 and be finger friendly. i was using a program called pocket twit on my TP1, but not sure how it would work on the TP2 and want to know if there are better out there as well.

please link the .cab or best place to download too....

i use moTweets (free w/ ads or pay w/ no ads) search name for download. its the best i come across so far. if there is any better i too would like to know. i feel its way better than pockettwit, IMO.

also use qik (stream video straight to twitter or facebook + otheres) free w/ registration @ www.qik.com

Hmm... I use PocketTwit and honestly havent found any issues with it. Works well with Ping.fm and can do pics and gps location.

Scrolls just fine on the TP2. Loads quickly and colors and stuff can be made to fit ur tastes.

Seconded. I have used PocketTwit since I originally got my Titan. It worked great on that phone even with the memory limitations. When I got my TP2 I looked around for others and saw MoTweets was mentioned. It is only one ad at the top which isn't a big deal. I don't know what it was though, but I just had to go back to PocketTwit. I think it's because I liked having themes to choose from, as well as, it being more finger friendly.

TF3D 2.5 for wm 6.5 has the facebook and twitter tabs...

2.5 has it. I know it only works on some roms. But since we Sprint users arent unlocked yet, we have to use the program.

I have used PocketTwit, MoTweets, and Twikini. I finally ponied up the $3.95 for MoTweets and have found it to be the most effective of the three. Scrolls well, has all of the functionality needed.

Here’s a new Twitter application that is coming soon to the Windows Marketplace. It’s just waiting approval for inclusion. I can’t wait, it looks stunning and seems to be primed to give Twikini a run. Although I am not currently carrying a Windows Mobile device, I want to give this one a good look. I am using Twitter more and more and I want to have options for the days when I do use my WinMo phones.

I use twikini. It only cost .99 cent in the marketplace. It is by far the best twitter app I have ever used. I love it!!!.

I have used Twikini since it was free during its beta days. I have also tried Motweets, Tiny Twitter, and others. I can't use TouchTwit since my Verizon TP2 does not have the marketplace (yet).

I prefer Twikini. It is not perfect, but does work well. Does GPS, TwitPic and much more. Fast clean interface.

MoTweets is also very nice, but one thing I dont like is how is handles viewing TwitPics. Like Twikini, MoTweets can view TwitPics inline (without needing to open a browser). But Motweets downloads the pics and saves them with the rest of the pics. So when I view my own pics, I see them and all the TwitPics I have viewed...this is why I dont use Motweets. Twikini allows for inline TwitPic viewing, but the cache is not stored with other pics.

Have MoTweets changed how this works?

i just got finished looking at the pocketnow review of TouchTwit and it looks like what i have been looking for. i have PockeTwit on my TP2 now for a few couple days and although the finger scrolling is decent, the UI scheme is not that attractive. TouchTwit seems like it may be the winner for me and what im looking for.

I bought it. Not that impressed. Text is very small and I see no option to enlarge it. Sent developer an email last week and have not got a response.
