The release on Microsoft's site is still 1.07.

whats the difference between the 2 versions? are there any more alternate facebook apps? microsoft's app kinda sucks and is laggy with no automatic realtime updates

No difference whatsoever. It's still actually version 1.07 in the program. It's listed incorrectly on the Marketplace
