Dashwire shutting down

Apparently, Dashwire has a deal with Best Buy and their mIQ service. Dashwire is not accepting new users and will be shutting down at the end of the year. They will make arrangements for your to save their data on PC on move it to future service Dashwire will be implementing. I have about 17 months of crap on there.

yea, I saw this coming. wasn't sure who, but could tell by the lack of updates and general quite atmosphere that they had something in the works.

You're right, Dashwire (the service, not the company) is shutting down, but not until after the first of the year.

Dashwire, Inc. has partnered with Best Buy Mobile to offer a new and improved solution called mIQ. If you are a Dashwire user, you will be getting an email in the next few weeks with more information on the change and all the improvements the new mIQ solution has over the existing Dashwire app.

Dashwire plans on providing a way to either transfer your information from Dashwire to mIQ, or download it to your computer. We definitely want to make sure our users are taken care of before shutting down the service and hope to make the transition as painless as possible :)

When will you guys make a WM 6.5 cab file? I set-up my account on Oct 12. Once I got my Tilt2, tried installing the cab with no luck. Contacted support and they were no help at all. They gave me a link to the same cab file. I have flashed twelve different ROMs as well as the Stock ATT one(twice) and the cab doesn't work on any.

Well I know Ken from Dashwire was real active and responsive on our site when Dashwire first opened their doors. A lot of us were beta testers and saw a lot of our suggestions implemented. I know I enjoyed being a part of their initial efforts and hope that they continue to provide quality products and support.

late,
Coz

Yeah, It's unfortunate to hear this. As Coz said we were pretty invested in this app as a community. Good times...

@bennyj77:

Wanted to wait till I had an answer on the cab file for you but didn't want you to think i was ignoring the question! We tested it on the Tilt2 and got the same issue, our engineer is working on a fix right now. Will update you as soon as i've got some answers.
