HTC HOME - LAUNCHER CUSTOMIZATION (new icon???)

Anyone know a way to create an icon/item for HTC HOME, LAUNCHER, so it will open a folder, instead of an application? I tried to duplicate and alter the shortcut for Programs (as Launcher has an icon for that) but no luck. I want to be able to open the Mobile Office folder with a tap (so I'm not wasting multiple slots with Calender, Tasks, etc....).

I believe there is a way. I think some of the versions of the HTC Home come with a app called folderview. I remember seeing it, but never messed with it. i would check over at xda since they have messed with this app more. But, from I understand, with this app you can set folders in the launcher. Again, this is a vague recolection so check over at xda. I will also look into this when I get a chance

Never mind. I'm dumping HTC Home as this is a cause of device freezing on Helmi's WM6 release.

Thanks though!

Read through that. Seems they are having problems in that no matter what they change in the folderview registry, it sill opens PROGRAMS root (which is the same issue I had). I'm wondering if i can create an .exe that is just a bat file to open a folder. Though I don't know how I'd do that (time to do some researching).
