I didn't see a thread started in the TP2 section until afterward...but this application applies to more than just TP2.

It was really cool, but no one ever bothered to use it. It's been out for about a year, and I used for it for a little while until the novelty wore off when I realized no one else cared.

for some reason barcode technology will never take hold *cough*religion*cough*.
kinda weird too cuz barcodes have only been around for 60 years..
I have a feeling rfid is the direction everything is heading since you don't see it.

I don't see too many of these tags actually in use anywhere. I have the app installed just in case though :)

yea, me too, it would be nice if all the 2d versions would play nice with each other so you don't have to have different apps.

I always figured it'd be a cool way to send secret messages to friends. Just e-mail or send a barcode to them some how, they scan it, and they get the message. Since it's so obscure, not too many people would be able to read it.
