I think the market place is a must to entice casual and non business users. They probably don't get the feed from 1800pocketpc.com to check on new cabs like i do :)

I've installed AP Mobile, Microsoft My Phone, Endomondo Tracker, WeatherBug, Bing, Netflix Mobile, and Glympse without problems.

Skyfire and TripCase install and work fine, but they never display as installed in Marketplace. In fact, I actually have TripCase listed twice! They're always in the Ready to install folder and I haven't figured out how to clear out that folder yet or move them to the Installed list.

Shazam seems to now be free in the Marketplace. Although there are some limitations so this is more of a lite version.

i installed personal assistant by pageonce.com today and it works pretty well and is free for 5 accounts. I like that it will show my bank info and sprint mins. anything else like this?

One thing I don't like with the market place is that i can't keep the cab and have sashimi install it next time I flash. However the fact that it keeps track of my purchases makes it easy to install them manually so it's not too much of a drag

I puchased PBA Bowling, Star Trek, Tiger woods 09 and downloaded netflix, scrub, ap mobile. The games are ok but I dont have a d-pad on my touch pro 2 so its all touch control.

I bought Midomi and haven't been to pleased it with it. It's technology for IDing songs seems to work best when words are present. Which also usefull if you sing a song, it will try to ID it. Though for just normal music with little words or coming out of a speaker, Shazam kicks Midomi's but. The only reason I bought Midomi was just to see how the Marketplace works and curiosity. I'd stick with Shazam in less your curious, like me. Oh and want to waste 5 bucks.
