Newest Sprint Navigation (TeleNav) Application

1 Attachment(s)
I was having a problem with Sprint Navigation and I was sent a file directly from TeleNav to resolve the problem. It is a version 5.5.18 of Telenav. I thought I would share this application for those sprint navigation users. You will need to know your sprint navigation pin to get this one to work. You can have the PIN sent to you from the Sprint Navigation we site. My default PIN was the last four of my phone number.

Please hit thanks if this software help you.

When I go to About Sprint Nav it says my version is 2.1.40 for my Touch Pro2, and this is 5.5.18?

Sprint Nav and Telenav are 2 different apps. This app is Telenav, and while it is nice tohave it, it looks terrible compared to Sprint Nav.

Re: Newest Sprint Navigation (TeleNav) Application

I was running Telenav for about a month and just got a message that my account has expired. I know that Telenav and Sprint Navigation are different apps, but it seems like Telenav works fine after every new/clean ROM flash.

So, there's gotta be way to trick Telenav into thinking it is a new ROM, or at least resetting the timer or whatever it does to allow me in after a reflash.

Any info?

Telenav looks very clean to me. Crisp, clean graphics, while Sprint Navigation seems a bit dated and old looking.

Also, who has the very latest version of Sprint Navigation for a Touch Pro?

Just a warning, but you might want to think about what you are asking about.

Here is the latest version of Sprint Nav...

I'm not asking to crack Telenav. I'm asking for a way to use Telenav in place of Sprint Nav. It seems like it works with my Sprint Nav subscription with new flashes. From what I can tell, both use the same servers and accounts since I can log into Sprint's site and Telenav's site to manage my favorites with the same account info.

I installed that on my Sprint Touch and now Sprint Nav doesn't work. It opens to the first screen but there are no software buttons to continue. When I close it I get microsoft's option to send an error message.

Re: Newest Sprint Navigation (TeleNav) Application

Muzicman82, I have a temporary solution to your problem. What I do is completely remove all navigation. Then I install the original Sprint Nav, I then install Telenav 5.5. You will have two icons in your programs list, one is Sprint Nav and Telenav. You can delete Sprint nav when you access your start menu folder from the windows folder. I think, (not sure) that tells Telenav you are running the original nav, since it leaves some of the original Sprint Nav behind and does not remove it when you install Telenav 5.5. This works for me. I am running Juicy 8 build 090627.
