Re: eSignature Software?

oh, no. i've not seen much for mobile, however there are some services that you can email a doc/picture and it will come back in pdf.
I use qipit.com from time to time.

I use qipit as well but wasn't sure I could email them a doc to convert... I though they only did pictures to PDFs... I'll have to play around with that too...

I was just playing around and it seems you cannot insert an image to a word doc with mobile word... :(

your right, but there are plenty out there for documents. I did just realize that there might be a way to do this with jetcetprint. I'll have to play with it over the weekend to see if I can trick it to print to a pdf.

Re: eSignature Software?

um well, i'm not sure my earlier idea would work. (unless westtek adds it themselves)
I did however find the following titles, but havn't had time to try them yet.

pocketpdf 1.0b -free (creator of ActiveTweak)
Jpeg2pdf - free
FluidPDFVPrint = $40 after trial
Filibe PDF Scanner = $10 (does basically the same thing as Jpeg2pdf)

there are also several SDK's availble, old and new.

Re: eSignature Software?

I decided to printout the document before I depart... Upon arrival, I have the recipient sign the doc and then I scan and email via Qipit...

This seems to be the easiest method I found so far, at least until someone develops and app that will allow us to embed the signature image into office documents...

I think one of the main challenges that we face with this is that Mobile Office apps are limited to what we can do... Inserting images seems to be one of the limitations...

Hopefully one day a solution will be available to us and hopefully it will be FREE!!! ;)

Re: eSignature Software?

I wonder if any of the other office apps. by competitors have that ability?
I know that in my other job I have to fill out an Excel generated form for every customer. I cannot do it on computer, because the third party company that pays the bill refuses anything that is not handwritten with the actual signature of the customer. They say that the signature is the same as cash to them.

Having a product that will let me do it all in my own handwriting would be a dream. In fact, it would save the company I work for tens of thousands of dollars a year on paper and printing costs, and administrative time.
