Weather Panel Install
 

HI all,

I'm a noob so bear with me . I've got a Treo 700wx and installed Weather Panel, but could not get anything other than the program splash screen to appear. Is there a step by step process to install and get configured. I've been frustrated!

After installing, you should see the Today plugin instructing you to "click here to configure".

Besides installing it, what other steps have you done to configure it?

Also make sure that you've downloaded the actual program...and not a bunch of themes.

I have been searching all over this forum and can not find a link to the weatherpanel cab file. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you!

Thanks! Got it working. I'd like to do some of the themes, but cannot seem to get them to install correctly. Correct me if I am wrong, but a .cab file will "automatically" install itself onto my device? What's the easiest way to do a .zip. I downloaded a few to my desktop, but cannot seem to get them unzipped and installed onto the device. I'm decently computer savvy, but this phone is completely new concept to me.

For a zip file, you need to extract the files into a folder. The depending on whether you downloaded a theme or icon set, then you must copy the folder over into the \Program Files\Marsware\WeatherPanel\Themes or \Program Files\Marsware\WeatherPanel\Icons depending on which are you trying to use.
