Did You See The Full Video Of Manila 2.6??? WOW!!!!
 

i came across this video and was floored just like when i saw the first video of the HTC Hero, its a Touch HD running a custom ROM with manila 2.6 and demonstrating all its features (not like pocketnow where its a quick tour) I was shocked when i saw the homescreen tab where animated background matches the current weather, i was so friggin impressed by it all that if we can get something like this to run perfectly on a Touch Pro 2 id skip the Hero (BTW its a beta ROM so it will be sluggish, looks like it DOES need a 1GZ CPU to run this....)

Pretty cool. It's definitely got a lot more features and flexibility. I don't really like the icon set though. I like the classic icons better impo.

its a real bummer that we can go as far as 2.5, cuz 2.6 and up arent made for qualcomm processors, so there will be a lot of cool features we will miss ATM

That's pretty sweet. Any eta on it? I didn't see anything over at XDA. I just can't wait until my new Verizon TP2's HSPL is released and I can unlock my phone. I would love to add 2.6 to my new build.

Maybe some of the gurus here might know... anyone.... anyone???

i cant stop looking at the home tab when its cloudy in the weather.... it also shows rainy as well and we see the drops of water running down the screen and lightning in the background.... wow now thats innovation

i know this has been debated over and over again but i think most people believe that 2.5 and 2.6 are the same besides being made for different chip sets.

Why does it look like it moves sooo slowly?

As the presenter is flipping through the pictures the screen moves at a snails pace. Footprints and media also looked very laggy. I would definitely require a snappier version of this software.

+1 for all of the Pink Floyd in the playlist :-)
