Re: Waze: Way to Go
I never did get a gps lock, though I use Garmin mobile, google maps, GPSToday, and many more gps apps without any issue.

Downloaded and installed to the card. Installation took about 2 minutes though. Immediately started looking for GPS, found it at port 4, 9600. I then looked at the map and found the street next to where I am.

Re: Waze: Way to Go
Reminds me a bit like a more advanced Trapster. I don't think enough people use it in my area to make it worth the drain on my battery. It did let me know there was an accident 1500 miles away. Phew crisis averted! Is it me or does it feel like it was made for the iPhone first? These UI's bug me and why does it have it's own on screen keyboard?

Re: Waze: Way to Go
I'm having sooo much fun with this app now, I see a road and have to turn down it if there are points to be had. I havnt seen a speed trap since installing it, but I am looking to report something, already created a new road.
Oh and thank goodness for car chargers, it's a must with this app, but I guess that goes without saying...not really for battery drain, it's I am turning 5 minute trips into 20 minute adventures. Going down different roads, driving past my location just for points...hahahahah. |

Its fun if you know where you are going, want to collect some point and help fellow drivers. |
