Opera Mini 5 beta has arrived. This is great news for mini fans. Lets test it out and post our results, good and bad. I have already learned several things (thanks dschoenike and everyone posting) that have improved my experience with the latest beta thanks to this thread. Hopefully Mini will also improve based on good constructive user feedback. Here is the myopera blog site that Opera visits often, so it would be good to signup and post there as well. http://my.opera.com/community/forums/forum.dml?id=111 forum for mini

Also, thanks to boxer112, we have an all in one cab to install mini beta 5 and jbed, also a shortcut to the programs menu. Great stuff. Please visit his thread and thank him for this. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=85199

To try Opera Mini 5 beta, simply visit the address m.opera.com/next, using your phone’s default Web browser. Or visit this site: http://www.opera.com/mini/next/
Attached a zipped file with the jad/jar files :)

Couple pics :)

Re: Opera Mini or Mobile Update coming? One/both are getting a facelift

are the puzzle pieces added one by one each day or every 12 hours or so?
either way, should be interesting.

I love Opera Mini it's so much faster at loading (from their servers) and quick to look things up on IMDB, Wikipedia, Google. Where as I find Opera Mobile and IE a pain to use and barely ever use them.

I hear you. funny thing is when I was on t-mobile, mini was a saving grace. edge data was the reason! now that I'm on this 3g network, still find myself using mini more. go figure! this should be great. Cant imagine what they are going to be implementing. Maybe full flash support like skyfire. who knows but time will tell!

I will definitely download when it's available. I was just thinking the other day that it's been awhile since 4.2 was released. I'm on a TP2 and I still use this as my main browser :P

Great news! I've been using Opera Mini in almost the same version since I got my Titan and it' still the best browser hands down. Fast, simple and highly capable of loading almost any web page. Will definitely being trying out 5.0 asap.
