startup programs
Is there a good free program to manage some of the files and programs that WM runs at startup?

Re: startup programs
Open File Explorer, and go to \windows\Startup\. Delete any applications you do not want to run at startup. Or are you looking for the equivalent of msconfig for Windows Mobile?

Re: startup programs
These arent free, but sktools and memmaid are very good programs. A "must have" in my opinion if you want more control of your device. Cant go wrong with either and theyre both worth the price.

Yes that is what I mean. Something like the msconfig.

Re: startup programs
4s via google rendered this: Startup Manager: (freeware): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=262476
EDIT: It appears to be functional on WM 6.5. You will get an error message about MSVC not appearing to be a valid link, but after closing the message, it will operate correctly. After installation, it will appear in Start --> Settings --> System -->StartUp Manager. (The icon looks like a key in a lock.) To change the settings for a specific item, click and hold down on the application, and select the option from the menu that appears. |
Re: startup programs
Thanks for the info and links. I think sktools was one of the ones I was thinking. I had seen one before but couldn't remember the name.
