Your flowers example would be correct if you said you were too busy to buy your girlfriend flowers so you had someone else order them for you with pre-determined notes.
Besides, with that app, you aren't "thinking about them," you're having the app do the thinking for you.

well think about it. you DO have someone pre-ordering for them, the girlfriend. Chances are she has a favorite flower in a favorite color. Now, if you're a smart boyfriend you know what that is and order those. No real thinking involved in that. Now if you don't know the flower/color of her choice, everyone knows the best route to go is red or some variation of roses. It's like the "default" choice.
I do agree that my example is a stretch and probably not the easiest one to make, but the fact of the matter is they are similar. I guess my overall point isn't the route we take to make them happy, but that the end game being that they're happy.
In my opinion, girls don't get hung up on details, like guys do, and if they're happy at the end of the day, what happened around 2pm doesn't really matter, so long as at bedtime they go to sleep with a big smile on their face. It's about the results, and this app would provide them, even if they aren't sincere. Neither are flowers btw.
