Best Weather Program Right Here

5 Attachment(s)
Its called 'The Weather Channel v1.02'.

I found this program at www.weather.com. It is by far the best weather program I have found.

I have created CAB file that has the Registry edit already done and it has the Today Screen plugin removed. Gives you 9999 free times of use. Nice and smooth install. Feel free to take this ROM Chefs and put it in your builds. I know I would like to see it in a ROM.

download the free trial for windows mobile ppc

this is not warez. it is a trial with a reg mod. not a crack or serial. it will not be registered to you. It will have a nag screen until you buy it. If you like this app and use it often you should pay for it, that way it will be yours and you wont have nightmares about Chimmer beatin some coin outa you. ;)
oh yeah dont go over 9999 cause it defaults back to 10. i cannot guarantee it wont default back.

ok.... why is this the best weather app out there?
only $3.99 a month billed to your wireless account? I dont think so...
I'll stick with weather panel... it's FREE and works great.

cause

did u try it? it has video on demand links that load up in wiindows media player. it will have your city, not a nearby city, radar, cloud radar, animated radar, 7 day forecast. descrpited detailed forecast, airplane daly info, severe weather warnings, and a bunch of other stuff. I mainly like the animated radar cause I want to know if a huge system is moving in or if it is just overcast with rain. I travel near lake michigan and there are huge storms sometimes. just trying to help yall out homeslice. don't like it, don't buy it. but you can try it fo free. plus I use htc home 6 button plugin. so idont use the today screen plugin from this program. I disabled that. this is a full screen app, not just a plugin for today screen. also a happy sun face doesn't tell me a whole lot. plus 9 out of 10 meteorologist recommend it. actually that's not true. ;) and they will bill my wifi card how?

If you just need an animated radar, go to bevhoward.com/storm/ppcrad.htm

it may be the best for you, but it contains a lot of stuff I dont care about, and most of the stuff I do care about WP handles nicely, inluding sever weather alerts, it does show my city, radar, etc...
It's today screen plugin is horrid, and you can't alter it at all, and it takes up more room for its 3 day forcast than most do for a 5 day..

I'm not disagreeing that it does have some nice stuff, but it may not be the stuff everryone wants.

ok... I have been testing this out for a few days. it isn't bad. I dont like the today plugin though... takes up too much real estate for the amount of information it displays.

would be nice if it were skinable.

Could you post a screenshot?

badfrog 09-15-2007 03:06 PM

ok... first one is with just HTC home and the TWC plugins.. nothing else.

this one is the same, except I have enabled a last call plugin, takes one line on the today screen, and looking at the TWC plugin above, you would think it would fit easily...
but no... the scroll bar comes on.
