The creators of SpoofApp have announced that a WM version is coming soon. SpoofApp is used to fake your caller id, so people have no idea who is calling them or they think it's somebody else. haha.

wow....while it no doubt would be fun to use as a prank(i used to live for the "phreak" in the 80s), this software/service is incredibly shady....a few things immediately come to mind after reading their site....

1. i would not pay this company in anything other than cash which is obviously not an option.....the next best thing would be to use one of those Visa gift card things(prepaid credit card). how anyone could trust this company with any long term personal account information, even paypal, is extremely naive. i would STRONGLY suggest anyone seriously considering using this service once it gets released for our phones to use PREPAID VISA CARDS ONLY when dealing with these guys.

2. even with our governments red-tape ridden, horribly slow, reactions to companies/services like this, i give this shop 1 year max to survive. they'll probably rake in plenty of $ and account #s before the feds come down hard on them, but believe you me, they will come down hard.

3. as a former "hacker" who since grew up and got a job/life, i'm not up on the scene and don't know if their technique is a widely known exploit of the tel-con infrastructure, something they themselves found, or just an abuse of the privledges that come with certain business filings. reguardless, their "SpoofCard" product will certainly be bought, used, reverse-engineered and copied by people that we don't want to have the capability. even long after this company goes down, until the tel-con infrastructure is patched to block this exploit, we can all expect to be hassled on every phone # we use by people trying to "sell" us sh!t.......come to think of it, the factory warranty on my car is running out soon....](*,)

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but check your state laws before using this. In know in my state they recently passed a law against caller ID spoofing.

That law has an malicious intent requirement, much like any impersonation law. Wearing a police uniform costume or a uniform itself is not illegal unless you are attempting to defraud, harass someone or use it for otherwise already illegal purposes.

The companies selling the software are probably overseas since they would have exposure on civil suits by anyone harassed or defrauded.

Also did that law ever pass? It doesn't seem to show up in current code.

um actually bluffmycall is not only totally free to make as many calls as you like but the developers made it open source so you can develope whatever you want with their api. http://bluffmycall.com/developer/ is where the info is.

Anyone having problems getting Bluffmycall to work w/ Manila 2.5? I had it working on my last 3 ROMS that were 2.1. Since I switched to 2.5 I can't get it to work. I think its the (CDMA Services, Automatic Prepend) issue w/ the +1 before dialing. Sorry if this was already discussed before I know I saw it somewhere just can't seem to find it now.

Went back to a version w/ 2.1 now working again :) Oh well I'm sure we'll get some reg tweak to get it to work on 2.5 later on down the line. To get it to work on 2.1 you have to go into Phone settings -> Plus Code Dialing & have International dialing code cleared w/ nothing & North American dialing enabled. I also ran a Sprint provisioning .cab that was included w/ the latest Silence 2.1 ROM, not sure if you need to do that though.

I made it work!! I'm currently running energyrom manila 2.5 max for the tp2. I tweaked the registry, just go to HKLM - SOFTWARE - OEM - PHONESETTING - PLUSCOEDIALING - PLUSCODEENABLE Change value from "0" to "1". no soft reset required, just open bluff and add your phone number in setting with a "+" in front of it.
