Streaming from Network (NAS) drives
I know about ORB and slingbox but I don't think they apply to this situation. Basically, I have a network hard-drive, which is connected via ethernet cord to my wireless router. I want to be able to access media content on it seamlessly without having to move files to my PPC. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Resco Explorer has this option (not free). Total Commander might have this function as well, but not 100%.

thanks for the tip, and I do use Resco Explorer just for that, but I meant more along the lines of upnp devices. I have a Linkstation Pro 500 gb network (ethernet) drive it does not natively support streaming like the Linkstation Live. I was wondering if there was a way to allow it to stream the multimedia on there instead of me having to download it first.

I have a D-Link NAS (DSM-600) device and it shows up just fine as a shared drive. I regularily stream music and video from that drive without problems. Is there a way to map your Linkstation as a mapped network drive, then share it so maybe Resco can see it?
