PhoneAlarm question

when using phone alarm for repeat notifications (for missed calls, etc), does the program keep playing the "sms tone" or does it use a simple beep notification on the repeats? In other words, if I have sound clip ABC.mp3 as the sms tone, does it play that same one every time it repeats or does it play a different one?

Re: PhoneAlarm question

It plays the same tone...so if u have a specific tone for your SMS messeges and the notification goes off again (either because you received a new one or the time elapsed before you checked the latest one) then you will hear assigned SMS tone you originally selected. Hopefully this helps.

Re: PhoneAlarm question

I don"t see an option in the advanced settings but I would go to the Pocketmax support forum http://www.pocketmax.net/smf/index.php and ask if it is possible. The Developer is very active on the site and there is a feature request section. IMHO PA is the single most useful app available for a PPC. If it has been a while look at the feature list and see what it can do for you.

I am in no way assoicated with the company or it's developer, I just wouldn't want to be without the program because it does soooo much.

Naturally that is possible in phoneAlarm !!

Just check in the "Power User" settings via About screen menu and look for the options:

'repeatSound=\Windows\alarm1.wav

'repeatMissedSound=\Windows\alarm1.wav
'repeatSMSSound=\Windows\alarm1.wav
'repeatEmailSound=\Windows\alarm1.wav
'repeatVoiceSound=\Windows\alarm1.wav

Customise these to any sound you like for the repeat alert after first alarm

cheers

I took a deeper look into the settings. This IS possible. You will need to make some changes to the Power-User Custom settings. These settings are found on the about screen by clicking the tool icon in the lower left corner. Hope this helps.

edit-Missed it by that much.

Just to be sure, I have to remove the ' from the line I want to enable, correct?
