PS3 Bluetooth Remote App?
 

Hi all,
So my PS3 remote took a dirt nap, and I really don't feel like buying a new one, so has anyone made an app that will allow my Omnia to act as a PS3 Bluetooth Remote? Thx.

Bump this up. Anyone know of one? Would it be that hard to take an existing remote app and rig it up to utilize bluetooth?

It looks like an app mentioned elsewhere finally added PS3 support. I will look into it more.

FWIW, apparently this person is putting his own user interface on the driver used by Mobile Remote. He hopes to have something available this weekend.

I couldn't get mobileremote to do anything. It would just sit at the bluetooth connection screen doing nothing. Now I can't remove it either, going to have to hard reset to get rid of it. Anybody else get it to work on a verizon touch pro without issues. Mine couldn't find any bluetooth devices even after sitting searching for quite some time.

I got it to connect with my diamond, but then wasn't sure what to do from there . ..

i got the mobile remote working with my ps3 and touch pro. When it detected my phone it picked it up as a human interface or whatever and i was able to use it as a mouse although that was buggy and stuck in the down position and the keypad worked to type messages my only complaint is the bugginess of the mouse part kinda makes it unusable imo but its a good start hopefully a better developed app is out there somewhere or on the way

he must be using the paid version of the app or something when i went to use the mouse on my touch pro it didnt look like his at all there were arrows on the screen on my pro that i had to touch to maneuver around but mines was kinda buggy and stuck on the down position

Toward the end of the video I posted, he is also using the arrow pad you mentioned. That would be the G-Mouse. G-motion sensor enabled mouse. It moves the mouse based on which way you tilt the device. If you were holding the device in the normal upright position, it would be the same as sliding the mouse toward yourself infinitely.

Anyway, there is a Touch Pad mode, which he used in the video, as opposed to the mouse mode.
