Best Buy Mobile HotSpot

Anyone been in to Best Buy recently? Seems like they have copied WMwifirouter and are now selling their own branded version of similar software.

"one-time fee of $59.99"

I don't know about this! How do I find it? A search gave me a bunch of stuff about wmwifirouter, or using your home router and stuff. This sounds interesting. Want! lol

Had it for 2 years on my smartphone, and still kicking. Just as good as cable, better even. I wish i was salesman for this cuz it Works! One time fee, and I Hate COX cable. The only downsides are: u must be within 200ft of PC and it drains battery power whenn in use. Again, if at home, PLUG phone in!!!! This is NOT WIFI, it is a HOTSPOT! u can 5 ppl on it and secured by u. Not anything to do with apple or Apps. No router needed, ur phone is router, and again, ur own secured connection.

Ash, I think you are mistaken. According to Best buy, the app uses the smartphones wifi capability to share a data connection. It is Wifi :)

This is exactly how WMWifiRouter has worked for the last few years (for free, or paid) and the new HTCWifi app works (also free). And the Best Buy program is an app; it's available in the Best Buy mobile app store at a steep price.
