Freeware Internet Radio?
New to the Windows Mobile Plat. I've been on a Palm Centro for a few years now .. but it's just plain outdated. I love Pandora, unfortunately they do not have it for my Palm Treo Pro yet. Anyone know of any internet radio programs similar to Pandora or Slacker for use with the Palm Treo/ Windows Mobile OS?

if you buy this http://www.conduits.com/products/player/ there's an option for internet radio - it has a nice interface - finger friendly scroll.
here's a free alternative http://mundu.com/products/mundu-radio/features |

Re: Freeware Internet Radio?
Since a radio app doesn't really fit the definition of a game, thread moved to PPC Software.

I second http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda .... I've been using it for years. I've even made a shortcut for it and put it into \Windows\Start Menu\Programs for easy access. Great site!! |
Re: Freeware Internet Radio?
Kinoma Freeplay. It has Shoutcast support, and is an all-around amazing piece of software. There's a full $30 version, but there's so much included in the free version that it will keep you occupied for a long time.

Wanted add support Kinoma. I like it, I just wish it was smaller and loaded faster.

Re: Freeware Internet Radio?
Thanks to this thread I tried Kinoma Freeplay. Awesome app and tons of stations. Buffers super fast, very finger friendly and intuitive UI, and full rotation support using accelerometer. Works great in my car!

Re: Freeware Internet Radio?
Kinoma Freeplay.
I went to the site, but I can't find a good description of what it does, actually. Is it similar to Last.fm or Pandora where you create your own "stations" using genres or artists, or is it a program that lets you tune into radio stations that broadcast over the net? |

Re: Freeware Internet Radio?
I swear by Resco Radio. It comes pre-loaded with plenty of stations, you can add your own (which I have done plenty of), and you can record as well. I have Conduits PocketPlayer (good for podcasts), Kinoma Play (chock full of awesome things), and WunderRadio (good of local stations that choose to broadcast their local stations over the internet as well). Trust me, when it comes to internet radio, Resco is the way to go. Finger friendly and the today screen plugin is actually really good.
