Listening to a streaming radio station

Hi, I have been trying to find a way to listen to my favorite radio station (WYSP in Pilly, PA). Unfortuantely there are only two available streams for the radio station.

1. From TheStreamCenter.com. This is a .PLS file. I've tried playing it in Windows Media Player, HTC Audio Manager, the HTC Streaming app, and TCPMP with no luck. Of course it plays perfectly fine on the computer.

2. From WYSP's website. This is a flash application that, unfortunately does not embed the stream information so the only way this could work would be via a web browser or somehow passing the variables directly to the Flash movie. None of that matters, however; as Flash Lite and Flash 7 cannot play it as well as TCPMP.

So I'm thinking #1 is my best option but I can't find a way to play it.

Does anyone know how I can listen to this radio station on my phone? I have a Mogul 6800.

Thanks!

That's a pretty cool application! Unfortuantely it does not play the stream from TheSteamCenter :(

It gives me an error stating it is in an unsupported format. From what I can tell, the stream is in an MP3 format... not sure why NOTHING can play it :(

I even tried manually extracting the URLs from the PLS and trying them in all the applications.

Also I set up a streaming system on http://mobile.k-disk.com or http://mobile.ktimaster.net . They all work with WindowsMediaPlayer

As far as TheStreamCenter, Try a Media Player Called GSPlayer, Save the .pls and open it up in GSPlayer, It works for me

Coreplayer works with PLS files... Use it on DI-FM's 96k Winamp Streams all the time...

First time you play it gives an error, hit play again, and it works like a charm...

the actual URL in the .pls file is an mp3d format whatever that is...

Im Glad you like it

I am still working on this site, It is daunting work. Currently I have most of the Florida Radio Stations, and 45 TV Stations. If anyone is willing to help out, that would be great

Bookmarked. That's a huge list. Unfortunately it didn't have my station on it but I wouldn't be surprised if I streamed some stations from there :)
