Looking for a blank app, configigurable...
 

I basically want to build my own app launcher so I need something like rlToday except not a today plugin.

A app that I can call on from a button that will be blank and I can config it through XML files to place shortcuts and such... Does it exist? I can't find any... Can it be created easy?

So, what is it ? It's a patched keyboard driver with configurator application for keys setup. Any key (yeah, i mean ANY, including Home and Back keys) can be reassigned to perform desired actions. Keys on a QWERTY keyboard are not an exception, they might be remapped too.
If any key has an action configured and is defined to be processed by my driver extension, it wouldn't go into the system. That is to say no one program even like AEButton will see key events processed by my driver.
Driver extension also can vibrate on any key press.

I hope so, 'cuz I'd like this too. Maybe MortScripts can do this? In the meanwhile, I'm using a today plugin (tdLaunch) for program launching, plus a separate file launcher (GSFinder+). You might want to check out GS Finder plus, if nobody has your blank app, as it can launch a program just as easily as a file (anything you can write a shortcut to, and you can specify icon).

Hope this helps, but hope even more that somebody can provide a blank app launcher with customizeable background, etc.

tdLaunch is to busy for me.

I've found what I need I think, it is a exe inside XIAMultiTheme. I already use XIA for a today plug in and it has a built in launcher too, I just had to add the folders with xml files and icons. I assigned a icon on my today to bring it up, I threw in some icons I already had but I still plan to change them and tweak it all. It works exactly as I wanted and looks (will eventually) exactly like I want it!

I think there's one called "Start Menu"

Should be pre-installed on most phones...
