other finger flick programs

are there any finger flick web browsers (not the samsung one) or media managers out there?

heck what i would really like is to somehow map a finger flick to the scroll bar function in any application. it wouldn't even have to be a flick type... it could be a simple click and drag up and down or left and right. my fingers are too big to get to the scroll bars without a stylus.

yea i would love a finger flick for web browsing (pref. one that's free?) as my fingers r big too and i always have to tilt my finger just to use the scroll bar.

try using the beta of opera mini 4... it has touch scrolling for both horizontal and vertical.

It really is amazing that Microsoft with all its talent and research never thought about all this. It takes Apple to bring about a change in paradigm in how a pda interface should work. Don't get me wrong, I like my mogul because it can do quite a few things that the iphone cannot. However, having played a bit with the iphone, I really like the interface. The mogul has such a small screen, that I have a problem doing anything without a stylus. Shrinking the windows interface onto a 3x4 inch screen really has drawbacks from a usability standpoint. Having recently lost my stylus (and no place in my vicinity with replacements), it really became a pain to operate the pda. The finger flicking apps I have (pocketcm and opera) are steps in the right direction, but nowhere near as smooth as what I experienced with the iphone. I can only hope that in time more apps get developed that allow operation with fingers rather than tapping away at tiny little boxes with a stylus. (still waiting for a touchflo port for the mogul)

you may try pockCM and pcmkeyboard. They work with your fingers.

Ask and you shall receive...

Is IS in alpha, so not full proof yet. Go and test it, give feedback and maybe it'll go somewhere...
