I have consistently found weatherunderground to be more accurate than anything else (for both current temp & forecast) & I've tried it in other towns also.

Same here! I definitely would love to have weather underground as a feed source!

Hey All!

I just had an idea about a feature for this new program...I'll post it on the UserRequirements site.

How about adding Update start & end times?
For example: Say I only wanted weather to update every 30 mins, hour, 2 hours, etc. between the hours of 7am & 11pm. There would be an option to chose your update intervals as well as the what part of the day you want it to update.

I just think its a waist to have a program updating while you are sleeping or something like that & wasting your battery. So...for me, I would set it to update right before I woke up in the mornings (7am) & stop when I go to bed (11pm). During the time I would be awake (7:30am - 10:30pm) I would have the weather update every couple of hours. I actually got the idea from the Scottymomo's Pocket Sports Center app that's on this site.

What do you think? Would anyone be interested in a feature like that?

That's a great idea. I'll add that to the wiki when I get a chance. Thanks for the input!

Screen shots of what? We haven't started development of the app, yet. I'm still working on hammering out requirements. I'll be starting some prototypes soon to start getting a skinning system put together but screen shots are a ways off. :)

This sounds like a great idea! Kudos to the dev (team) for getting this off the ground. Looking forward to it:headbang:

Not dead at all, but it is in a temporary limbo as I've been very busy with work and I'm still waiting on more user input and trying to decide it it would be better to continue development as a Today screen plugin or move on to Titanium....

Please, if you have any input, hit the project page and post!

Any update on this? With Windows Phone 7 around the corner is developing it still worth it?

Re: Quick Mobile Weather Freeware/Dontationware

This project stalled. I was trying to gather user requirements from the community and started out strong but bombed out before I could get a real feel for what everyone was really looking for.

With WP7 around the corner, I'm probably leaving the WM platform. In fact, I've already purchased an Android phone. So I don't expect QuickMobile to continue on the path of WM development unless WP7 + gets a hell of a lot better.

I guess only time will tell.

Thanks.
