are you saying that iris is better than opera with flash 3.1? that may be true but in most other aspects, Opera is better than iris hands down. Iris is slower in most cases and still has crash issues on the diamond. the rendering is good but who has time to sit and wait for it to complete. as for youtube, why not just use the built-in youtube apps that work much better anyway than through a mobile browser? just my opinion of course but I have been following iris forever and keep getting dissappointed.

I agree completely ... Iris continues to disappoint, even though the developers have made some progress. It still confounds me, why a decent mobile browser still eludes us. The new Skyfire is a little better ... the new beta of Opera Mobile is a little better ... but if we're entirely honest ... none of them are very good. So for now, I just continue with Opera Mini for the quick and dirty day to day stuff, and haul out Skyfire when I need video. In light of Safari and Palm's new Web OS, it just doesn't seem like we should be lagging so far behind.

Iris does have one big advantage over other browsers for WinMo, if you visit MLB.com with any regularity. Apparently, since it's from Torch which developed Safari, it gets better treatment by MLB.com than browsers that identify themselves as non-Torch. Comparison pics here:

That is what I do also, I love OperaMini. I hate Skyfire & only break it out when nothing else works..........

For YouTube, I use the dedicated YT app which works fantastic for me.

I like Iris but typing in a web address and hitting "Go" is almost impossible without the stylus.

iris definitely has potential, but right now, like most of you, i use opera mini for general web browsing, and if i NEED to see a video, i pull out skyfire, lol

have they fixed the fullscreen mode yet?
going fullscreen, then pressing the menu button or bottom buttons exits fullscreen everytime. i hated it.

Nope. Top bar comes back with next action, bottom bar never goes away.:(

But they have finally included 'Open in New Tab' via tap and hold on link.:)

I use regular opera, but otherwise the same as inertone.
